This week, I did slightly more than last week. I watched more videos on Jetpack Compose. Also the GitHub link was sent to me, and after some tinkering with my Gradle in Android Studio, I was able to pull up the code so I could start looking at it. This next week, my partner and I will need to meet with one of our Echelon representatives to set up the emulator so we can run and test things.
We met with the people we will work with on the Echelon side of the project this week. They seem to have some version control things that they need to do before my partner and I can start working.
I have read through a lot of code this week, and I think I understand most of it. However, I was mostly trying to figure out where the things I’m going to work on for the next few months are going to live. I found where some of it will be, but I guess that they will create some more classes for us to do the rest of the work.
Last week I thought that we were going to be working on the featured page for the mirror. However, this week during our meeting it was revealed that we are going to be working on some API and getting the challenges and series page set up. Challenges and series are groups of classes that all have some similarities like they all yoga classes or something like that. You will have a certain amount of time to get through them, and what challenges and series available changes every couple of weeks. This sounds like it will be fun to work on and will be great for my resume!
